Together, let’s welcome 2025 with
a commitment to lighting a path
for Aroostook's older residents!

Community support has long fueled our work

at the Aroostook Agency on Aging, helping us light the way for older adults across Aroostook County.

As we launch our Winter Appeal, we invite you to be a part of this tradition of generosity — a movement that brightens the lives of our older neighbors in The County.

Adding your light with a year-end donation to support

our efforts will illuminate life’s journey with the care, support, and connection that enable all of us to thrive.

From Our Honorary Appeal Co-Chairs....

Every day, we see the tremendous impact of the Aroostook Agency on Aging's services and programs - from Meals on Wheels to case management, Medicare counseling to wellness classes, and so much more.  We are proud to represent the Agency and our colleagues in asking our neighbors here in The County for your support in continuing this life-changing work with the older adults of Aroostook County.

Please join us in illuminating life's journey in 2025!

WHAT IS THE  WONDERLAND OF WISHES?

For 2025, we’re hosting a Wonderland of Wishes, a new tradition that honors friends of the Foundation for the Aroostook Agency on Aging who illuminate life’s journey with the care, support, and connection that enable our older neighbors in The County to thrive.

Through December 31st, we invite you to share your light by sponsoring a luminary at one of the giving levels below. Each luminary will be inscribed with a personalized wish of your choice—whether for yourself, a loved one, or the world—and will shine brightly in our magical Wonderland of Wishes.

On New Year’s Eve, as dusk settles over Riverside Park, your luminary will join hundreds of others to create an illuminated path of hope and dreams for 2025. This inspiring community event celebrates the power of collective hope while ensuring your generosity brightens the lives of older adults in Aroostook County. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display, symbolically “sending off” all our wishes into the New Year.

OR CONSIDER JOINING OUR BEACON CIRCLE!

A donation of $1,000 or more empowers us to deliver work that is truly transformative for those who need it most—expanding access to life-changing services and the personalized support that fosters aging with independence and dignity. Your generosity at this level ensures we can tackle critical challenges and create innovative solutions that uplift our community’s older adults. As a token of our gratitude, donors at this level will be publicly honored as members of our "Beacon Circle," a group of community advocates who illuminate the path toward a brighter future for all.
