During the month of May, take a moment to
honor an older person who has made
an impact in your life with a donation to the Aroostook Agency on Aging.

At the Aroostook Agency on Aging, we celebrate the vital role older adults play in our lives and communities — and we work every day to ensure they have the care, connection, and dignity they deserve.

As the number of older adults in need continues to grow here in The County, we find ourselves in a time of transition. Public funding remains flat, and changes at the federal and state level bring new uncertainties. But one thing is certain: our commitment to the people of Aroostook County will not waver.

This May, during Older Americans Month, you can make a powerful statement:

OUR OLDER PEOPLE MATTER.

When you make a donation in honor of someone who matters to you — a parent, grandparent, mentor, neighbor, or friend — your gift helps provide essential services like meals, friendly calls and visits, respite for caregivers, and connections to resources for living well as we age.  In total, the Agency offers more than 30 programs, all of which support the needs of older adults and their caregivers.

To make your tribute even more special, our media partner WAGM-TV will share your message to your loved one during their Friday morning news between 6 and 9 a.m., from May 9 through May 30.  Be sure to let your honoree know when to watch...it’s a wonderful way to brighten their day, remind them how much they mean to you, and celebrate their impact with the entire Aroostook County community.

Let your gift be a celebration of someone you love — and a show of support for older adults who need us now more than ever!

(P.S.: Mother's Day is May 11...what a wonderful way to make Mom's day!)
